Hello and thank you for visiting my site. My name is Beverly. I live in Texas and I have fibromyalgia. Having fibromyalgia for over thirty years (diagnosed fifteen years ago) has made me realize the importance of getting information to others with the same diagnosis.

 

Fibromyalgia is a disease that is silent; you can not see it, but it is there. People look at you and don't think that there is anything wrong with you, while in reality you are crying on the inside because you hurt so much.

 

Everything affects you in a much different way than it affects other people. Changes in weather makes you hurt, the cold affects you one way while the heat another way entirely. When you become upset it can cause problems with you physically that take days to get over.
